Adoption Community Information Meeting on Sunday, June 10, at noon, at

A representative from
South Coast Business Employment Corporation (SCBEC)/WORKSOURCE Oregon
will be available the third Tuesday of every month at the Langlois
Library. Job Seekers and business representatives are encouraged
to stop by to discuss available services. Classroom training and
On-the-Job Training programs are available for eligible individuals.
SCBEC currently provides Certified Nurses Assistance training at the
Coos Bay Corporate Headquarters. Appointments may be made by calling Mo
Aakre at 541 751-8506.
Veterans Outreach Day
at the Langlois Public Library Wednesday, June 20th from 11am to 4pm.
The outreach will continue on every 3rd Wednesday of the month. Come
and let us help you file your service connection claims, obtain
military documents, medical enrollment, housing assistance and
additional services. We thank each and every veteran for their
service to this country!
Library presents, a Night at the Library, a movie night on June 8th at
6pm. Come join us as we watch Black Panther and snack on some popcorn.
Chadwick Boseman, Micheal B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, and Letita
Wright star in this Sci-Fi Action Adventure. Black Panther follows
T’Challa, the King of Wakanda; a technologically advance African
nation that has keep itself isolated. T’Challa’s right to
the throne is challenged by an outsider who may pull Wakanda into a
world war. This movie is Rated PG-13 for prolonged sequence of action,
violence, and a brief rude gesture.
